Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern all painting services provided by Kaynan & Co Painting (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the client (“you”, “your”). By accepting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotes & Acceptance

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time and may change if additional work is required.

Acceptance of a quote may be verbal, written, or by payment of a deposit.

3. Scope of Work

Only work specifically listed in the accepted quote will be carried out.

Any additional work requested will be quoted separately and must be approved before commencement.

4. Deposits & Payments

A deposit may be required prior to commencement of work.

Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed works unless otherwise stated in writing.

Late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Access & Preparation

You agree to provide safe and clear access to the work areas during the agreed dates.

Unless stated otherwise, furniture removal, protection of personal items, and relocation of vehicles are the client’s responsibility.

6. Scheduling & Delays

Start and completion dates are estimates only.

Delays may occur due to weather, product availability, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

We will communicate any significant delays as soon as possible.

7. Materials & Colours

Paint brands and systems will be used as specified in the quote or agreed beforehand.

While colour accuracy is taken seriously, slight variations may occur due to lighting, surface condition, or previous coatings.

8. Surface Conditions

Some surfaces may reveal hidden defects (e.g. rot, rust, cracks) once preparation begins.

Repairs outside normal preparation may incur additional costs and will be discussed before proceeding.

9. Workmanship Guarantee

Kaynan & Co Painting guarantees workmanship for a reasonable period under normal conditions.

This guarantee does not cover:

Wear and tear

Structural movement

Moisture issues

Damage caused by others

Failure of previous coatings or substrates

10. Liability

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues not visible prior to commencing work.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

11. Cancellation

Cancellations must be made with reasonable notice.

Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or work has commenced.

12. Health & Safety

We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.

You agree to keep pets, children, and unauthorised persons away from work areas during painting works.

13. Photography & Marketing

We may take before-and-after photos of completed work for marketing purposes.

No identifying personal details will be used without consent.

14. Disputes

Any concerns should be raised promptly so we can resolve them fairly and efficiently.

Both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before pursuing further action.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the region where the services are provided.
